These terms cover derecs.org, the site where you request access to deRECs. The site is run by MediaSavior L.L.C. (“deRECs,” “we,” “us”).
Requesting access
Sending a request asks us to contact you about access to deRECs. It does not create an account and does not guarantee access. If you are given access, the deRECs platform’s own Terms of Service apply to your use of it, and you will be asked to accept them then.
What a deREC is not
deRECs are voluntary, on-chain proof-of-generation records. They are not Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), are not for regulatory/RPS compliance, and are not financial products, investments, or securities.
deRECs are not financial products, investments, securities, or offers to sell securities. They convey no economic rights, no share of any revenue or enterprise, and no expectation of profit or value; certificate and credit transfers are disabled at launch, and there is no marketplace. Platform fees are charged only for services rendered (verification, issuance, retirement processing). Nothing here is financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.
Your request
Give accurate information about yourself and use the form only to request access for yourself or your organization. Do not send automated or bulk submissions.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with its date.
